Rates are NOT per 24 hours, Pets are charged a full day no matter what time they are dropped off.
Charges apply the day of check in. No charges apply the day of check out if pet is picked up before 11 on Wed. or Friday, but extra optional fees may apply. Payment by cash, money order, personal check (only under $200) or credit card is due when you pick up your pet! We Require a Valid Credit Card To Reserve Your Space.
Please give us a 72 hour notice of cancellation, otherwise your credit card will be billed for the requested reservation time. All early returns are still charged for the full reservation.
Our K-9 Facility
Each dog will have his privacy. Large indoor/outdoor runs with large doggie doors are available to accommodate any breed. Block panels divide each guest, giving a sense of security to our smaller guests, and also as a sanitary precaution. The kennel is heated with radiant heating in the floors to maintain a comfortable temperature all winter long, and in the summer we have a whole house fan that cools. Good ventilation is available all year to keep your pet comfortable and healthy. Plenty of lighting is available along with soft music throughout the day & night to keep your pet content. It is natural for pets to play, so for their fun time, we offer 2 large outdoor play yards for socialization, all supplied with toys, and a kiddy pool in the summer months. In The runs, “Kuranda” dog beds are supplied, so your pet will be comfortably resting off the floor. These beds are also great for the guests with joint problems.
Feeding
During your pets visit with us, please feel free to bring a sufficient supply of their regular pet food, (must be in a sealed plastic container with your pets first and last name on it). Maintaining the regular nutrition of your pet is important, particularly if they have special needs in their diet. However, if you are unable or forget to bring food for your pet, for a nominal fee On-Point Kennel will supply your pet with food. We are a retailer for Purina brand pet foods, and it is the same brand we trust for our own pets.
There is no need to bring feeding dishes along with you. Clean, sanitary dishes are provided for each animal at no charge.
Grooming & Flea Topicals
Upon check in, all pets will be examined for external parasites (fleas, ticks, etc.), if present, On-Point Kennel will treat your pet with a flea topical at an additional cost to the owner. For your convenience we also retail these items, so you can maintain a parasite free environment at home. Routine grooming is offered at On-Point Kennel for our boarders and the public. Some services offered are: bathing, air forced drying, brushing, ear cleaning, nail trimming and clipping. Actual fees vary depending on the pet’s size, coat, condition, style and temperament. Beds, Toys And Treats
Please feel free to bring along any comfort items for your pet. Toys, treats, or even a favorite blanket or bed are all welcome, but they MUST be WASHABLE or DISPOSABLE. Some pets experience some nervousness at first and have an accident or may be destructive, so please make sure anything sent with you from home is not important and is disposable.
For sanitation purposes and parasite control, for a small fee, fabric items will be washed during the flea season, March-November or longer if fleas are still present.
